Project Title: Scrape Museum Data from Wikipedia
Project Description:
We want to scrape museum data from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lists_of_museums.
It includes every museum linked in this page or in the subpages (example: USA is divided by state), It preserves all the columns inside the tables of the listings of museums.
It includes a column for the country AND another state/ city where appropriate from the structure of the pages in Wikipedia or the table available inside the museums.
Example: “Yap”, from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_museums_in_the_Federated_States_of_Micronesia
– All cell content is text, except links
– It includes a column for the “source” where data was taken from
– It excludes icons and images
– It excludes link references, EXCEPT where they point to the website of the museum (example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_museums_in_Estonia)
The deliverable is an excel file. Please share quotation for the same.
