We need to create a simple scraper to scrape Property details from zillow.com.
Import a spreadsheet of counties and states
Go to zillow.com
Enter the county/state
Under ‘Home type’ select only Lots/Land
Change “For Sale” to “Sold”
Under the “More” filter change “Sold in Last” to 30 Days
Run those results
And add the number to sold properties to the next open cell in the spreadsheet
Go back to Zillow and change “Sold” back to “For Sale”
Under the “More” filter change “Days on Zillow” to 30
Run those results and add the number of properties on the next open cell in the row for that county.
Divide the number of new listing by the number of sold listings and put the percentage in the next cell/column in that row
Export results as a CSV.
